NEET Previous Year Questions (PYQ) Practice

Practising real exam-style questions, chapter by chapter, is one of the highest-value ways to prepare for NEET. Here's why it works and how to use it well.

Why PYQ practice matters

Working through previous-year questions shows you how a concept is actually tested, not just how it’s described in a textbook. Doing this chapter by chapter — rather than only in full mock tests — makes it easier to see exactly where a concept breaks down for you, instead of a single overall score that doesn’t point to a specific gap.

A useful loop: practise a chapter’s questions, review every mistake (not just the wrong ones — the ones you guessed right too), ask the tutor to explain the reasoning behind a question you missed, then revisit that chapter’s notes before moving on.

These are original, practice-style questions written to illustrate the format — not reproduced official exam papers. The in-app PYQ tool distinguishes real, source-cited past-year questions from AI-generated practice questions.

Physics

A body starts from rest and accelerates uniformly at 2 m/s² for 6 seconds. What distance does it cover?

Show answer

Using s = ut + ½at², with u = 0: s = 0 + ½ × 2 × 6² = 36 m.

Chemistry

Which type of hybridisation does the central atom in BF₃ show, and what is its molecular shape?

Show answer

sp² hybridisation, trigonal planar shape, with F-B-F bond angles of 120°.

Biology

A cross between two heterozygous tall pea plants (Tt × Tt) produces offspring. What phenotypic ratio is expected?

Show answer

3:1 (tall:dwarf), following Mendel's Law of Segregation.
